US Student Visa Appointments Open for November and December

In celebration of International Education Week, the US Embassy in India is pleased to announce tens of thousands of appointments are now available across India during November and December 2024 for students, beginning Monday, November 18th. This initiative aims to facilitate a smooth and timely visa application process for Indian students aspiring to pursue their academic dreams in the United States.

Prioritising First Time Applicants: The initial phase of appointments will prioritise first time student visa applicants.

Extensive Availability: Tens of thousands of appointments are available throughout November and December across the U.S. Embassy and Consulate locations in India.

Second Chance for Previously Refused Applicants: After accommodating first time applicants, slots will be opened for students whose visa applications were previously refused, providing them with another chance to pursue their US. education.

By opening these student visa appointment slots, the Embassy hopes to make the process easier and faster, helping students start their academic journeys without unnecessary delays.
